Steps

   Report again in writing

   Describe the problem, when it started and how it affects you. Keep copies.

   Document it

   Photos, dates and a log of contacts.

   Ask for a rent reduction in writing

   You may be entitled to a reduction for the time the problem lasts — from when you reported it.

   Get help

   The Tenants’ Association advises members; the Rent Tribunal can order repairs and decide on rent reductions.
