What it lets you drive
C1: lorries and cars over 3,500 kg and up to 7,500 kg, with a light trailer up to 750 kg.
C1E: a C1 or B vehicle with one or more trailers, the combination up to 12,000 kg.
A truck or bus licence lets you drive the vehicle. To carry goods or passengers professionally you also need the professional driver competence certificate, YKB. Completing YKB basic training can also lower the minimum age for the licence.
