The yearly tax return
Everyone with taxable income receives an income tax return (inkomstdeklaration) in spring. Check the pre-filled figures — including any income from abroad — then approve or correct it online with BankID. In 2026 the deadline was 4 May; filing late can mean a late-filing fee. Refunds or extra tax follow the decision.
