Monthly pass or single tickets?
A simple way to work out whether a 30-day ticket pays off for you.
Work it out
Divide the 30-day price by the single-ticket price. That is how many single trips a month make the pass worth it.
Example, Uppsala adult (normal prices): 1 150 kr ÷ 40 kr ≈ 29 trips. Travelling to work or university and back on 15 days a month (30 trips) makes the pass worth it — and you can travel free in the evenings and weekends too.
Until 2 December 2026 many regions sell 30-day tickets at half price, so the pass pays off after about half as many trips.
