Regional trains
Regional trains connect cities within and between counties. Your regional ticket usually covers them inside the county; crossing a county border needs a combined or separate ticket.
Tickets
- Within your county, regional trains are usually included in the regional operator’s tickets. UL tickets, for example, are valid on Mälartåg between Uppsala, Sala, Gävle and Arlanda/Märsta.
- Crossing a county border: buy a combined ticket (such as UL + SL) or a ticket for the whole journey in the operator’s app.
- Arlanda airport stations charge an extra passage fee on top of a normal ticket.
