Step by step

   Check what your permit is tied to

   Your decision says whether it is limited to an employer and occupation, or to an occupation only.

2. 2

   Make sure the new job qualifies

   It must have been advertised in Sweden and the EU/EEA, and meet the salary and insurance requirements.

3. 3

   Apply for a new permit

   Before your current permit expires. You can start the new job once you have applied.

4. 4

   EU Blue Card?

   You must also notify Migrationsverket of job changes in writing.
