Check the salary and terms
From 1 June 2026 the salary must be at least SEK 34,470 a month.
What to do
- From 1 June 2026 the salary must be at least 90% of the median salary. Based on the median published on 16 June 2026 (SEK 38,300), that is SEK 34,470 per month. Some professions only need 75%.
- The median in force on the day you apply is the one that counts.
- Salary, insurance and other terms must be at least on par with Swedish collective agreements or common practice in the profession.
- By your start date the employer must have health, life, industrial-injury and occupational pension insurance in place for you.
