Bring your family
Partner and children under 21 can apply with you — new rules from 1 October 2026.
What to do
A spouse, registered or cohabiting partner and children under 21 can apply at the same time as you. You must meet a maintenance requirement for them.
New rules for family members of work-permit holders apply from 1 October 2026. Read the current requirements on Migrationsverket before applying.

- Read the current family rules on Migrationsverket
- Check you meet the maintenance requirement for them
- Apply for them with your application, or later
Documents or information required
- Nikah nama and NADRA Marriage Registration Certificate
- Children's birth certificates (NADRA CRC)
- Passports for everyone coming
