Study · Task 1 of 6
Understand your options
Compare university programmes, eligibility and costs.
What to do
Search programmes taught in English on Study in Sweden and University Admissions.
- Each programme lists its own entry requirements. Most ask for a completed degree (for master's) and proof of English — often shown with IELTS Academic or TOEFL, but check the exact score the programme asks for.
- Applicants from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland pay tuition fees. They vary a lot by programme — for example one Lund University master's lists SEK 160,000 for one year.
- Look for scholarships early: the Swedish Institute and many universities publish their own, with deadlines that fall around the same time as applications.
