Prepare your Pakistani academic documents
Check eligibility, HEC attestation, English proof and identity details before the deadline.
What to do
University Admissions has country-specific rules for education completed in Pakistan. Do this before uploading anything.
- Master’s eligibility: the general minimum is normally a four-year bachelor’s degree with at least 124 credits, or a bachelor’s followed by a master’s giving four years of study in total. Some qualifications do not meet the general requirement; always read the current Pakistan page.
- HEC attestation: diplomas and transcripts must be attested by Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission. This also applies to incomplete transcripts. If a Detailed Marks Certificate has two parts, submit both. Make sure the HEC stamp or e-attestation details are clear.
- English: Pakistani upper-secondary studies do not normally meet Sweden’s English requirement. Prepare an accepted test such as IELTS Academic or TOEFL at the level required by the programme.
- Identity: upload a passport or national ID showing your name, photo and CNIC number. Names and birthdates must match the application, passport, degree and transcript. An affidavit alone is not accepted to explain a difference; use an official record such as a marriage certificate.
